The veterinary orthopedics service at our clinic is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the bones, joints, muscles and ligaments of dogs and cats. It is particularly indicated when the animal has lameness, difficulty in movement, joint pain or has suffered an injury such as a fracture.
We also intervene in cases of dysplasia, cruciate ligament rupture, congenital malformations, or developmental disorders in puppies.
Through a specialist examination and, if necessary, advanced diagnostic tests, we can identify the cause of the problem and set up a personalized therapeutic course, medical or surgical, with the goal of reducing pain and improving your pet's quality of life.
In addition, X-ray examinations for exemption certification of hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, aseptic necrosis of the femoral head, and clinical examination for dislocation of the patella or kneecap can be conducted at the clinic. These examinations are sent to the central Animal Health Foundation (FSA) reading station.
